A DAY IN DÜSSELDORF
Good morning! Start by rolling yourself out of our heavenly beds and make sure to enjoy our delicious breakfast to get ready for an exciting day in one of the most underrated cities.
On your way to the Rhine promenade, you’ll stroll the beautiful old town, passing by Carlsplatz with its culinary delights. Grab a little snack or stop by at Bistro Zicke, which is just a few minutes further for a takeaway coffee to enjoy along the waterside of the Rhine river.
Walk the Rhine all the way to the Medienhafen, the epicentre of media houses, TV stations and Düsseldorf’s home of fashion, architecture and cultural hot spots. If you’re hungry by now, check out Bob & Mary, they have the most mouth-watering burger you’ll get around town.
Next stop: Hangover Gallery–no worries, you don’t have to be hangover to get inspired by the art you’ll find here, but you can definitely have a drink or two while exploring the artworks by international contemporary artists. Good thing: They sell prints too, so you can even bring a souvenir home.
Head towards Flingern now, a super cute and colourful part of Düsseldorf. On your way take a quick stop at Hanaro Market, a very big and impressive Asian supermarket, to treat yourself with some delightfulness. If you need a little more before you end the day, check out Café Hüftgold–we fantasize about their delicious cakes.
Last but not least, enjoy the authentic atmosphere at Takumi, just around the corner from Max Brown Midtown and in the very heart of the Japanese Quarter, for the best ramen in town. Then make your way to Sakura Bar for some drinks and finish up your night at our bar at the hotel for a nightcap.
