To reduce plastic use and promote Amsterdam’s extremely clean tap water, we collaborated on a custom and reusable steel water bottle with our friends at Jerry Bottle. As a company, Jerry Bottle puts 100% of their profits back into clean drinking water projects in India and Tanzania. They also work with schools and offices to create more water fountains and fill-up points to reduce single-use plastic. Humans use 5 billion plastic toothbrushes every year, and 2 billion of them end up in landfills or the ocean. As a hotel collection that sees a lot of toothbrushes come and go, we believe this is an area where we can make a change. We designed a custom, biodegradable bamboo toothbrush with the Bamboo Brush Society to reduce the use of plastic toothbrushes.
