Going Solo in Milan
While many cities are great for solo trips, Milan tops our list. It’s full of Italian charm without feeling overcrowded. You’ll find delicious, authentic food everywhere, along with great style and long-established shops that have been around for ages. With a super central location, an extra comfy single bed, a retro bar for a cheeky aperitivo, and plenty of comfy spots to relax, Max Brown Missori is the perfect base for your stay.
Need some tips and inspiration for visiting Milan?
1. Brera District: Explore local bars, and restaurants, and soak in the Milano vibes. The Brera District is known for its art galleries, cobbled streets, and inviting cafés—perfect for a leisurely stroll with gelato in hand.
2. Jazz Night at Blue Note (Via Pietro Borsieri, 37): Treat yourself to a fancy outfit and enjoy live jazz at the renowned Blue Note. With intimate performances and a great drink (a negroni is always a good idea!), you’re in for a delightful evening.
3. Explore the Duomo & Spires: Just around the corner from our hotel, the iconic Duomo Cathedral is a must-see. Although on the touristy side, the climb to the top for stunning panoramic views of the city is worth it and so are the intricate details of this Gothic masterpiece.

The Cloister is a must-visit concept store with carefully chosen pieces, from luxury brands to unique designs and hidden fashion gems.
